We are still "hyped" by the dialogue. We learned so much about Islam, and made two great friends in the process. By beginning an interfaith dialogue, a heart-to-heart exchange among Buddhist and Muslim women, we took a bold step toward world peace. Our President Ikeda has said that the 21st Century will be the Century of the Woman. World peace will require that women lead. Some men will lead, too, of course, but it will be women and men who can build bridges, cross borders, and dismantle barriers. Our dialogue was just that: Women Crossing--bridges, borders, and barriers.
